The Omega Speedmaster 145.022-69 is really the perfect collectible yet wearable vintage speedmaster. It has it all. Stepped dial, DON (Dot Over Ninety) Bezel, acid etched hippocampus caseback and 1039 flat link bracelet.

This example dates to 1970 and has been preserved in remarkable original condition. We purchased the watch from the estate of the original owner deep in Amish Country, Pennsylvania. The red wax seal was still in tact when we acquired the watch as it had never been opened until we verified the movement and installed a new caseback gasket. The dial is flawless and retains all of its original luminous paint. The DON bezel is the star of the show here and in is completely flawless; it is one of the best DON bezels we have ever handled. The case is unpolished and retains all of its original finishing. Additionally the watch comes on its original 1039 flat link bracelet which is super tight and ready to be worn. It is also one of the best 1039 bracelets we’ve had the privilege of handling. This -69 is really a perfect speedmaster for a discerning collector who wants something wearable that also scratches that oh so familiar watch nerd itch.
