Patek Philippe Aquanaut ref. 5065J w/ 18k Bracelet

$105,000.00

Patek had some fun in the 90s and it’s no more evident than in their ref 5065 Aquanaut. The Aquanaut models of this era have caught fire in recent years and it’s easy to see why. They have so much more character than their modern counterparts. “Grenade” dials, tritium lume and, for this particular example, an impossibly chunky bracelet. This bracelet is really insane and to me has to be the least “Patek” thing Patek Philippe ever produced. It’s chunky, hefty and a true statement on the wrist but it honestly just works. Nothing else wears quite like it and they are actually quite hard to find; most were sold on strap. A nice plus is the ability to swap the bracelet out for one of the myriad of rubber straps Patek still produces for these 90s models.

This example is preserved in great condition and has likely not been polished. The bracelet fits up to a 7.5 inch wrist. The watch is accompanied by an Extract from the Archives dating original sale to 1999.
