Everybody loves GMT’s. They check all the boxes that us watch nerds look for. Vintage DNA, perfect size, practical complication and at the end of the day theyre just downright sexy. This particular example is a reference 16710 with K serial dating to 2001. It comes with its original long tight jubilee bracelet with DE clasp code which also dates to 2001 and is correct for this watch. Many 16710’s came on oyster bracelets but I personally love how them on jubilee. The star of the show on this example is the faded Pepsi insert which has aged to royal purple and light bubblegum pink. The watch is in fantastic condition and offers a ton of vintage appeal while simultaneously featuring the luxuries we know and love from modern Rolex (ie. sapphire crystal, glossy dial w/ white gold surrounds, pool approved).
