Tudor Oyster Prince ref. 7909 'Greenland Expedition'

wabi-sabi (侘寂) is a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection.

An untouched Tudor small rose Oyster-Prince ref. 7909 that, in my eyes, has the perfect tinge of wabi-sabi. When I received the watch the hands were positioned directly over the the stains between 6 and 8 and had likely been set that way many years prior.

Rolex was really on their game in the 50s with both their regular line and the watches they produced under the Tudor name. This watch in fact sports the same crown used by certain small crown Submariner references.
